Fair Use Policy
How unlimited stays unlimited — and fair — for everyone on the network.
Last updated: September 2026
Roamza offers different Unlimited eSIM products. Each Unlimited plan shows its high-speed data allowance and reduced speed before purchase — on the plan page, in the plan selector, and during checkout.
The exact allowance and reduced speed applicable to your plan are displayed on the plan page and during checkout, so you know what you're getting before you buy.
1How Unlimited plans work
Roamza Unlimited eSIM plans include a high-speed data allowance followed by unlimited data at a reduced speed. The specific allowance and reduced speed depend on the plan you select.
For example, a plan may include:
- A daily high-speed data allowance (e.g., 1GB, 2GB, or 3GB per day)
- Followed by unlimited data at a reduced speed (e.g., 512kbps, 1Mbps, or 2Mbps)
Other plans may include different daily allowances or reduced speeds. The allowance and speed for each plan are shown on the plan page and during checkout — you don't need to guess.
Customers will not be charged additional data fees for exceeding the high-speed allowance.
2Daily reset
For plans with a daily allowance, the high-speed allowance resets each day during the plan's validity period. When the allowance resets, you get a fresh allocation of high-speed data for the new day.
The reset timing depends on the destination network and typically occurs around midnight in the destination's local time zone.
3After high-speed data
Once the high-speed allowance has been used, data remains available at the reduced speed displayed for that specific plan until the allowance resets.
The reduced speed is shown on the plan page and during checkout — it is not a hidden or generic rate. You can check the exact reduced speed for your plan before purchasing.
4What can reduced-speed data be used for?
After the high-speed allowance has been used, customers can generally continue using services such as:
- WhatsApp, Messenger and other messaging apps
- Maps and navigation
- Basic web browsing
Higher-bandwidth activities such as HD video streaming, large downloads, cloud backups and software updates may be significantly slower once the high-speed allowance has been reached. The suitability of any particular application at reduced speeds depends on the specific reduced speed of your plan, the destination network, and other factors.
Roamza does not guarantee that any particular application will work at the reduced speed.
5Network management
The network generations available on your plan (e.g., 4G, 4G/5G) are shown on the plan page and during checkout. The guaranteed network for your plan reflects the minimum network capability across all suppliers that may fulfil your order.
Network speeds and availability can also vary depending on factors outside Roamza's control, including local network coverage, congestion, location, device compatibility and the network operator being used.
Roamza does not guarantee a specific maximum network speed.
6Acceptable use
Unlimited plans are intended for normal personal travel use.
Activities that may adversely affect network performance, involve automated or excessive data consumption, or otherwise breach Roamza's Terms & Conditions may be restricted where permitted by the underlying network provider.
This policy is provided for general information and forms part of Roamza's Terms & Conditions. The specific high-speed allowance and reduced speed for your plan are shown on the plan page and during checkout. If you're unsure how this policy applies to your plan, please contact us before purchasing.
