Terms & Conditions
The not-so-fine print. We've kept it as plain-English as we can — but it's legally binding, so please read it before you buy.

1Agreeing to these terms
By browsing roamza.com.au, purchasing an eSIM, or installing a Roamza eSIM on your device, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
These Terms form a contract between you ("you", "your") and Maverson Group Pty Ltd ("Roamza", "we", "us"), the seller of the eSIM plans on this site.
2What Roamza provides
Roamza sells prepaid travel eSIM data plans that let you access mobile data while travelling abroad, without incurring traditional roaming charges from your home carrier.
We are a reseller. The underlying eSIM connectivity, network access, and data capacity are provided to us by our upstream supplier. We do not operate our own mobile network. Coverage, speeds, and network availability depend on local carrier partners in each destination and are outside our direct control.
3Ordering & payment
When you place an order you're making an offer to buy a specific plan at the price shown. Your order is only accepted once payment is successfully processed through our payment provider, Stripe.
All prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to refuse or cancel an order before the eSIM is delivered.
You must provide a valid email address at checkout — your eSIM QR code, activation instructions, and order confirmation are delivered to it. We're not responsible for eSIMs sent to a mistyped or inaccessible email.
4Activation & validity
Most Roamza eSIMs auto-activate when they first connect to a supported network in your destination. Some plans activate at a fixed time instead. The activation policy for your plan is shown on the plan page and in your order confirmation.
Each plan has a validity period (for example, 7 or 30 days) that begins when the eSIM activates — not when you buy it. Unused data and the eSIM itself expire at the end of the validity period. Expired plans cannot be reactivated or refunded.
We recommend installing your eSIM before you travel, then switching it on when you land.
5Fair use of data (important)
Please read this section carefully. It explains how you can and can't use the data included in your plan.
Our eSIM data is supplied by our upstream provider and its carrier partners. To keep the service fair, fast, and affordable for everyone, all plans — including those labelled "unlimited" — are subject to a fair-use framework set by the upstream supplier. We don't set these limits ourselves, but we must pass them on.
What "unlimited" really means. Plans marketed as "unlimited" do not provide a genuinely infinite amount of data at full speed. They include a daily fair-use allowance (typically a few GB per day). Once you reach that allowance in a 24-hour period, your data speed may be reduced (throttled) until the next day, when full speed resumes. The exact daily threshold varies by destination and plan and is set by our supplier.
Personal, non-commercial use only. Your eSIM is for your own personal travel use. You may not:
- resell, share, or sub-licence the eSIM or its data to anyone else;
- use the eSIM as a primary home or business internet connection, or as a replacement for a fixed-line service;
- run servers, host services, or maintain continuous automated data streams;
- use the connection for excessive tethering/hotspot use where a plan restricts it (check the plan's hotspot support before relying on it);
- use the data for any illegal activity, or to transmit abusive, threatening, or unlawful content;
- attempt to bypass, manipulate, or reverse-engineer the eSIM, the activation system, or any rate limit.
What happens if fair use is breached. If our supplier detects use that falls outside fair use, it may throttle, suspend, or terminate the eSIM without notice. In serious cases (commercial resale, fraud, or abuse), the eSIM may be permanently deactivated and no refund will be provided. Roamza will not be liable for any loss of service resulting from a fair-use breach by the user.
Speed & coverage aren't guaranteed. Data speeds depend on the local carrier's network at your location. Network congestion, signal strength, indoor coverage, and carrier maintenance can all reduce speed or interrupt service. "4G/5G" refers to the network type available on supported devices — it is not a speed guarantee.
6Device compatibility
Your phone or tablet must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked for a Roamza eSIM to work. Most devices released from 2018 onwards support eSIM (for example, iPhone XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and recent Samsung Galaxy models).
It is your responsibility to confirm your device is compatible before purchasing. We're unable to offer a refund where the eSIM can't be installed because your device doesn't support eSIM or is network-locked to another carrier.
7Refunds & cancellations
Because an eSIM is a digital product delivered instantly, we generally can't offer a refund once the eSIM has been activated or has connected to a network.
You may be entitled to a refund where:
- the eSIM fails to activate through no fault of your own and we're unable to resolve it;
- the service is materially unavailable in the destination you purchased it for, and we can't provide a working alternative; or
- Australian Consumer Law gives you a statutory right to a remedy.
Refunds are not available where the eSIM has been activated, where the validity period has expired, where fair-use terms have been breached, or where the issue is caused by device incompatibility or a locked handset.
To request a refund, email hello@roamza.com.au with your order details.
8Limitations & liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roamza is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service — including loss of data, missed bookings, business interruption, or any travel disruption caused by a service outage.
Our total liability for any claim relating to your eSIM is limited to the amount you paid us for the plan in question.
We rely on third parties (our upstream provider, local carriers, Stripe) to deliver the service. We're not responsible for their acts, omissions, or network changes, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Where Australian Consumer Law applies and gives you a non-excludable right, nothing in these Terms limits that right.
9Intellectual property
The Roamza name, logo, site design, and content are owned by Maverson Group Pty Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse them without our written permission. Trademarks and branding of third parties (including our upstream provider and carrier partners) remain the property of their owners.
10Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
