VPN that travels with you

Encrypted on public Wi-Fi

Hotel, airport, and café networks are convenient but risky. VPN encrypts your connection so your data stays private on shared networks.

Works alongside your eSIM

Roamza Protect runs on your phone and laptop alongside your travel eSIM. One Roamza account, two layers of connectivity.

Activate when ready

Travel plans activate when you tap the button. Buy before you fly, activate when you land. Your access period starts from that moment.

Cancel anytime

Monthly subscriptions cancel with one click from your dashboard. No lock-in contracts, no cancellation fees.

What is a travel VPN?

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) creates an encrypted tunnel between your device and the internet. When you connect through a VPN, your data is scrambled so that others on the same network can't easily read it. For travellers, that means you can use hotel, airport, and café Wi-Fi with more confidence that your browsing, banking, and personal information stay private.

Why use a VPN when travelling overseas?

When you travel, you connect to networks you don't control — hotel Wi-Fi, airport hotspots, café routers. You can't know who set them up or who's watching the traffic. A VPN encrypts your connection so that even if the network is compromised, your data is much harder to intercept. It's a practical layer of privacy for the moments you need to check your bank account or book a flight from a departure lounge.

Using a VPN on public Wi-Fi

Public Wi-Fi is convenient, but it comes with trade-offs. On an open network, other people on the same connection may be able to see which sites you're visiting and, on unencrypted sites, what you're sending. A VPN addresses this by encrypting everything between your device and the VPN server. Turn it on before you connect to hotel or airport Wi-Fi, and your traffic reads as unreadable noise to anyone snooping on the network. It won't make every site fully secure on its own, but it closes the biggest gap: the local network itself.

What's the difference between an eSIM and a VPN?

They solve different problems. A travel eSIM gets you online in another country without roaming fees — it's your data connection. A VPN encrypts that connection so your traffic stays private on whatever network you're using. You can use an eSIM without a VPN, and you can use a VPN without an eSIM, but together they give you two layers: connectivity and privacy. Think of the eSIM as the pipe and the VPN as the encryption inside it.
