Is your iPhone or Samsung eSIM compatible for Bali travel?
Not sure if your phone works with a Bali eSIM? Here's a quick guide to eSIM compatibility for iPhones and Androids.
Is your iPhone or Samsung eSIM compatible for Bali travel?
Before you buy a Bali eSIM, it's worth checking that your phone supports eSIM. Here's a quick guide.
iPhone compatibility
Most iPhones from the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR onwards support eSIM. That includes iPhone 11 through 15 series and the iPhone SE (2nd gen and newer). If you have a recent iPhone, you're almost certainly good to go.
Samsung and Android compatibility
Many recent Samsung Galaxy phones support eSIM (S20 series and newer, Note 20 and newer, Z Fold/Flip series). Other Android brands like Google Pixel (3 and newer) also support eSIM. Compatibility varies by model, so it's best to check.
The easiest way to check
Use our compatibility checker — it takes less than a minute and confirms whether your exact phone model works with eSIM.
What if my phone isn't compatible?
If your phone doesn't support eSIM, you'll need a local SIM in Bali or a portable Wi-Fi device. But most phones bought in the last few years are compatible.
